Potrebni sastojci/2 osobe
- 200-250gr tjestenine po želji
- 200gr gambera
- 3 žlice pelata sjeckanih na kockice (Cirio npr.)
- 2 žlice paste sušenih rajčica (ili 6-8 sušenih rajčica koje ćete usitniti)
- 4 žlice bijelog vina
- 2 češnjaka
- 4 žlice maslinovog ulja
- 1 svježi chili (po želji stavite manje/više)
- sol i papar
- mala žličica smeđeg šećera (da smanji kiselinu rajčice)
- 2 šake svježe rukole
- svježe ribani parmezan
- 2 žlice soka od limuna i po želji malo naribane limunove korice
Postupak
Stavite kuhati tjesteninu prema uputama u zasoljenu kipuću vodu. Kuhajte ju minutu manje nego što piše na pakiranju.
U tavi zagrijte maslinovo ulje, dodajte usitnjeni češnjak i zatim gambere. Nakon minute dodajte obje rajčice, šećer, sol, papar, sjeckani chili, limunov sok pa podlijte s vinom. Dinstajte na srednjoj vatri. Umak bi trebao biti gotov kad i tjestenina.
Ocijedite tjesteninu, ne ispirite ju ali ostavite par žlica vode u kojoj se tjestenina kuhala. Prebacite ju u umak, podlijte s malo vode u kojoj se tjestenina kuhala pa ostavite na vatri još minutu-dvije dok se sve skupa ne poveže.
Servirajte, dodajte rukolu na svaku porciju, u grubo naribajte pamezan (najbolje nožićem za guljenje krumpira ;) ) i poškropite s još malo maslinovog ulja i svježe ribane limunove korice.

Can you believe this? My first English version recipe on the blog! After 6 months in London it was about time :)
Ingredients/2 portions
- 200-250g dried pasta of your choice
- 200g gamberetti or tiger shrimps
- 3 tbsp of can chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp sun-dried tomato paste
- 4 tbsp of white wine
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 fresh red chilli
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 handfuls rocket
- 2 tbsp lemon juice and lemon zest if desired
What to do with the ingredients?
Cook your pasta in a pan full of salted boiling water according to the packet instructions, just reduce the cooking time by a minute or two, nobody likes overcooked pasta.
Meanwhile, heat 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and toss in the garlic and prawns, sauté them for a minute. Add both tomatoes, white wine, salt, chilli, pepper, lemon juice and simmer for approximately 5min. Drain the pasta reserving a little of the cooking water. Toss the pasta with the sauce, season more if needed, simmer for a minute more and then serve on plates. Add fresh rocket, grated grana padano cheese and sprinkle with more olive oil and lemon zest if you like.
Serve hot! But I don't mind it cold :)
